Considered by many to be one of the toughest challenge walks around, The Allendale Challenge is organised by North of Tyne Mountain Rescue Team to raise valuable funds for the team. The 26 mile course is always very popular and should be a “must do” event for any keen walker or fell runner.Entries are open for the 34th Allendale Challenge which will take place on Saturday 5th April 2025. The entry fee is a bargain at only £42 and all profits go towards the running costs of the team.
