STEM Donation Opportunity
Oregon ITE is partnering with Oregon MESA to collect donations during registration at Traffic Bowl.
Oregon MESA works to provide students underrepresented in STEM fields with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities to develop their talents, explore technology-based careers, enter college, and compete successfully in the workforce. The organization provides school programming that teaches STEM, invention, and 21st-century skills to historically underrepresented middle and high school students in grades 5th-12th. The MESA model overcomes barriers to access by providing our program at no cost, offering it at the schools where our students are enrolled, and engaging parents directly in the success of their child.
There are many ways to support Oregon MESA in their mission of a more equitable STEM future. The day of Traffic Bowl, you can:
- Donate supplies or gift cards as described here: Donation list
- Donate your company swag . as outlined here: Donation list
- Make a monetary donation through Oregon ITE via check
Outside of Traffic Bowl, you can:
- Make a donation at oregonmesa.org/donate
- Contribute to the Oregon MESA Alumni Endowed Scholarship fund at giving.psuf.org/mesaendowed
Even a small donation can make a difference for our students. For more information visit oregonmesa.org or contact [email protected]
