33 Passes, Baviaanskloof, Addo Dream Tour #19 (18-25 Jan 2025)
The 33 Passes, Baviaanskloof, Addo Dream Tour must be one of our most popular adventures and we are excited to take you on our 19th expedition of this 8-day Overland Tour into the heart of the wilderness areas of the Western Cape and Eastern Cape! We have explored this area for many years and its stunning scenery makes us return on a regular basis. We will guide you to incredible viewpoints with views over the valleys and thousands of hectares of beautiful and unforgettable scenery.
We have created an off-the-beaten track, off-road tour on gravel, twee-spoor, mountain and other off-road tracks. You will need a 4×4 vehicle and the tour is suitable for an off-road camping trailer. All the campsites are rustic, but all have suitable facilities. We have selected camp sites that we have visited many times and included some very special “secret” sites.
We will get together in Wilderness from where we will explore the some of the greatest passes in South Africa. A great tour starts with new friends and a promise of an awesome adventure from here onwards.
The tour follows an awesome route through the Knysna Forest, Baviaanskloof and takes the very unknown back roads to the Addo National Park. This adventure tour is about 800 kilometres in total through the offroad tracks of the Western Cape and Eastern Cape.
We will drive some wonderful off the beaten track routes, through 33 great mountain passes, lush forests and experience some awesome wildlife! The adventure ends seven days later in Addo. We will visit two nature reserves and enjoy incredible views of nature. There are many hidden gems and we will attempt to visit most of them.
The tour is self-catering, but we will propose a menu closer to the time. You will need to bring your own firewood for the first few days. There are some small shops along the way through-out the tour to re-stock.
This tour is very popular and has shown loads of interest, so let us know soon if you would like to join us. IT WILL BE FULLY BOOKED VERY SOON!
>>>The tour price is R 7850 per person sharing; half-price for children under 12 and children under 6 are free (at the time of the tour). Single supplement is R 9900. Pricing for non-SADC members available on request<<<
