Bishop Powers joyfully invites all in the Diocese to take part in a special Eucharistic Consecration—a 33-day spiritual journey from October 22 (Feast of St. John Paul II) to November 23 (Feast of Christ the King).This time of prayer and reflection calls the faithful to a deeper union with Jesus in the Most Holy Eucharist, allowing Him to transform our hearts and send us forth in mission. Rooted in the National Eucharistic Revival, this consecration encourages daily surrender, holiness, and conversion through prayer, reconciliation, and community. Individuals, families, and small groups are all invited to participate and rediscover the hope and joy that come from abiding in Christ.
Last Christmas, we handed out these books and presented small group discussions at St. Joseph and St. Boniface. We had great response and participation—lives were changed! We are excited to be offering these books again, as well as open discussions on Wednesdays at St. Peter, 1618 20th Street in Cameron, at 6:00 PM starting October 22, and continuing on November 5, 12, and 19.
We are also offering sessions at St. Boniface, 419 Third Street in Chetek, following the 10:30 AM Sunday Masses on October 26, and November 2, 9, and 16. Lunch is provided.
The Eucharistic Consecration itself will occur at all weekend Masses November 22/23.
