Come learn all about how sugar is made at the 32nd Annual Kent Plantation House Sugar Day on Saturday, November 8th from 9 AM - 4 PM. Our 1840's reproduction sugar mill will be fired up and making delicious syrup and sugar! There will be live music, house tours, plenty of demonstrations including blacksmithing, open-hearth cooking, duck carving and more. There will also be vendors selling handmade food and arts & crafts items, plus plenty of children's activities, including a petting zoo! You do not want to miss this fun, family friendly festival at Kent Plantation House, 3601 Bayou Rapides Road, Alexandria, LA. Admission is $5 per person. Children 3 and under are free. If you are interested in becoming a vendor, please contact the office at Kent House 318-487-5998.
