Nancy Price was the Village of Youngstown Recreation Director who passed away in 1994 after a long battle with cancer. Under her direction, the Youngstown Recreation Program expanded from Falkner and Lions parks to Veterans Park, softball and baseball teams multiplied and tennis courts were added. She was beloved by many, and was a fixture in the parks and a friend to children and families in the area. Proceeds from the event go toward the annual Nancy & Vicki Price Memorial Scholarships, which are given out to graduates from the area who possess the values Nancy held and who are active in the community.
NEW FOR 2025: The race will start and finish in front of the Griffon Brewing in the Village of Youngstown and features a scenic course through the Village of Youngstown and beautiful Fort Niagara State Park.
The 5K Run/Walk: 6:30pm
1/2 Mile Kids Fun Run: 6pm
