31 Small Acts of Art is a gorgeous and inspiring way to kick start your creativity into 2025!This lovely learning journey is designed to help you discover tiny little arty actions that fit into real life and will supercharge your creativity and explore what kind of art or 'making' brings you joy! You'll learn new skills, explore new ideas and try things that might open up and whole new creative adventure for you!
Each day you'll get a short email, quick and inspiring, no waffle or long text to read.
Your daily email contains a lesson or thought for the day and a creative challenge task that you can complete in under 10 minutes. There will be a juicy variety of challenge tasks this year to really get creative sparks flying! From step by step drawings to creative writing prompts, photography ideas and more!
There is also a private discussion group where you can share photos, ideas and connect with other people on the journey.
HOW TO REGISTER: Enrol in this activity via our website. Participation is just $35 or $28 concession for a whole month of inspiration delivered straight to your inbox.
What you will need:
- Access to your email
- A sketchbook, notebook, journal or stack of paper
- A pencil and something to add colour with (pencils, markers, paints, or what ever you have on hand)
- Something to take photographs with

-Can I do this challenge with my kids?
Yes! Absolutely! You only need to sign up once per household and everyone in the family can join in!
- January is busy, what happens if I miss a day or days
No big deal. life happens and creativity should fit into your life in a way that feels good. The emails are yours to keep so you can save them to catch up on at the end, or do a double day to catch up if you find you have the time, or just complete the activities at your own pace when ever you like.
- Do you need art skills?
No special skills or talent required.
Absolute beginners and experienced art makers will all grow and benefit from the ritual of spending 10 minutes a day stretching some new skills and putting something on a page! This is your creative journey so there is no pressure and endless opportunity for discovery!
You do not need any special drawing skills either - the brilliant thing about creativity is the more you do, the better you get. And if you don't enjoy drawing - try doing the tasks with photography, or painting, or collage, or clay, or arranging toppings on a pizza.....
- Can I join After it has started?
Yes you can! You can start anytime in January and the emails will arrive one day at a time for 31 days :)
