The Kalamazoo Rugby Football Club would like to invite you to our 30th Annual Snowball Winter Rugby Tournament on Saturday, February 1! This is your only chance to compete in outdoor rugby this winter, so don't miss out! The tournament is a 10-per-side format with 10 minute halves and no kicks. There are four divisions: Men's Club, Women's Club, Men's Collegiate, and Women's Collegiate. All players must be at least 18 years old. The tournament will once again be held at Versluis Dickinson Park - 1924 Douglas Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49007
Registration is from 8:30am-9:30am, captains meeting will be at 9:30, and games kickoff at 9:45. There will be an after party at Rugger's Up & Under once games are finished where we will award the top team in each division.
This year the cost has been lowered to $25 per player. This will include tournament entry and post-tournament social (food and beer provided at no additional charge), but no shirt. We will have shirts for sale at the event for $15 each, but stock will be limited. Spectator entry to the social will be $10 for food and drinks. Cash or Venmo payments are preferred.
There will be no pre-registration this year, so all teams must register before 9:30 am at the tournament.
Snow or no snow, the tournament will not be cancelled!
No team? No problem. We always have motley teams formed at the tournament.
