30th Annual Haas Women in Leadership (WiL) Conference Agenda

Leadership Starts with Belonging

12:30–1:00 PM
Registration & Light Bites

Arrive, connect, and ground yourself in community before we begin.

1:00–1:10 PM
Opening the Space

A brief reflection on 30 years of Haas Women in Leadership.

1:10–1:40 PM
Welcome Address – Maital Guttman, Global Lead, Culture of Inclusion & Belonging at McKinsey & Company

Maital Guttman brings a global strategy lens to inclusive leadership. Drawing from her work advising senior executives, she’ll explore how belonging fuels high performance — and why the most resilient organizations design culture intentionally, not accidentally.

1:40–2:25 PM
Keynote – Patricia Lizarraga, Founder & Managing Partner at WCEO ETF

A pioneering investor and advocate for women CEOs in public markets, Patricia Lizarraga is reshaping how capital meets leadership. She’ll challenge us to rethink power, representation, and long-term value creation — and why who leads and how matters to markets, performance, and equity.

2:35–3:25 PM
Panel:: Funding the Future: Capital with Conviction — Who Gets Funded, Who Gets Built, Who Gets to Lead

At the intersection of venture, ownership, and scale, this panel explores how funding decisions shape the future of leadership. From equity design to access to capital, our speakers will unpack how to build durable companies — and expand who has a seat at the table.

3:25–3:35 PM
Networking Break

3:35–4:15 PM
Interactive Workshop:: Feedback in Action — Building Belonging Across Diverse Teams

In today’s workplace, feedback doesn’t just flow top-down — it moves in every direction. In this interactive session, we'll explore how to give, receive, and invite 360° feedback across lines of difference, identity, and power. You’ll learn practical frameworks for navigating and asking for feedback within diverse teams so that candor strengthens connection rather than erodes trust. Walk away with tools to turn feedback into a shared leadership practice — one that builds psychological safety, accountability, and belonging at scale.

4:15–4:55 PM
Fireside Chat: Culture by Design — Scaling Belonging from Product to People

What does it take to build culture intentionally across brands, teams, and growth stages? This cross-industry conversation explores how leaders design environments where people and products thrive — and how belonging becomes a competitive advantage.

4:55-5:00 + 5:00-7:00 PM
Closing Reflections + Happy Hour WiL Celebration

We’ll close with reflections on what it means to lead with belonging and then continue the conversation at a celebratory happy hour with speakers, alumni, and the broader WiL community.
