I remember being in high school when Terry McMillans “Waiting to Exhale” came out. As a young teen, I hadn’t the emotional intelligence to see what was actually happening on screen, as I do now. Now that I’ve lived. I’d like to invite you to a celebration of sisterhood, navigating relationships and love and the importance of having strong friendships throughout our lives. We will not only watch the movie, it will also be complimented by a dinner inspired by the film. Let’s eat and unpack theses characters.
