Martin’s International is pleased to let you know that for the 2nd time, the 7th JSVFest will be combined with the 30th IFOL and will feature the best of Caribbean and other cuisines. the Annual JSVFest (Jerk, Seafood and Vegan Festival} is a foodie's delight.

A great part of the JSVFest is to encourage healthy eating for the people in our community and elsewhere. The three food categories the JSVFest focuses on are the famous Jamaican Jerk cuisine which over the last fifty-year has made its way to tables of food lovers worldwide; Seafood, which for thousands of years has been credited for longevity, and Vegan (called by other names in some regions), but has been around for more than a century, and today is one of the most sort-after cuisines in America and other parts of the world.

As we celebrate this 7th Annual JSVFest carnival of food, music, and shopping with vendors from the Caribbean, Africa, America, and other regions; may I remind you that we are celebrating on the shoulder of Chicago’s Founding Father, the Black man from the Caribbean country of Haiti, Jean Baptiste Pointe DuSable, in whose honour this event is also dedicated.
