About this Event

Join us in volunteering at the Alameda County Community Food Bank. We will sort and pack produce while listening to music and having fun. It's a great way to meet single people and make new friends while giving back to the community!

Do Good = Feel Good

How Does It Work?

  • 30s & 40s age range
  • Even gender balance
  • 20-30 people total
  • Rotational format to allow everyone a chance to meet and chat with each other in small groups
  • Time to socialize before or after the volunteering portion of the event
  • Check out www.organicchemistrydating.com for more information

Our events are designed to foster meaningful connections through fun activities that revolve around volunteering and community service. In a casual setting, you'll have ample time to engage with others and truly get to know them. Our goal is to provide fun, gender-balanced events for singles in their 30s and 40s while giving back to the community.

What Makes It Different?

We provide casual, affordable, low-pressure opportunities to meet single people in their 30s and 40s. Maybe you’re tired of the bar scene and the dating apps. Maybe you’ve considered the membership-based “active singles” programs out there but they’re just too expensive. Or maybe their extreme sports-like activities don’t appeal to you. Maybe you just don’t have the time or scheduling flexibility to commit to long-duration events far in advance. We understand. That’s why we started Organic Chemistry Dating. We want you to walk away from each event feeling good about the people you met and the contribution you made to your community.

Even if you don’t make a romantic connection at your first event you’ll feel great about giving back to the community. It’s also a fun way to make single friends!

No Flaking Policy

Space is limited at our events. Please don't register unless you can attend. If your plans change and you can no longer attend an event we greatly appreciate it if you would cancel your ticket through Eventbrite in a timely manner so we know not to expect you and can offer your spot to someone on the waitlist. If you do not cancel your ticket and simply do not show up to an event (i.e. flake), we reserve the right to move you to the end of the waitlist for any future events that you sign up for. This policy helps us maintain the gender balance at events and be respectful to the community organizations that we partner with so we can fulfill our obligations to them.

Terms & Conditions

For privacy protection, we do not facilitate the exchange of contact information between interested parties. If you feel chemistry with someone at an event, we encourage you to be brave and exchange contact information directly!
