Enroll for $250, and pay for modules as you go. Catch early birds to save! Hybrid 300-Hour Yoga Training and Certification, registered with Yoga Alliance.

Modules are primarily presented in person, and most modules are also available to attend live via Zoom and/or asynchronous via a private Facebook group.
This training is open to those with a 200-Hour and/or 500-Hour Yoga Certification. Upon successful completion of this program, you are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as a 500-Hour Yoga Teacher. You may also take this 300-Hour Certification as a means to become an 800-Hour Certified Teacher, although YA does not currently recognize this designation.
Lead Trainer and Program Director is Carole Westerman, MA E-RYT500, RPYT. Other faculty members include Stephanie Watson, MA RYT500, RPYT, Emily Goodwin OTD OTR/L E-RYT500, RPYT, and other guest teachers. Our faculty is highly educated, intensely trained, and diverse.
In most cases, a 200-Hour provides the foundations of a Yoga Training. For many, this lights a fire within to learn more on specific topics that are of interest. Sometimes additional training may be a personal journey of growth, other times continued studies are sought in order to have a deeper understanding of the teachings to more skillfully share with others.

Each 300-Hour program will have its own ethos, and it's important you find one that's a good fit for you. At OIC we believe that Yoga is for everyone, and the focus of the program is on integrative health and well-being that includes each layer of the Koshas; physical, energetic, mental, and emotional.

We emphasize that each individual is unique, and that there is no one size fits all alignment or approach. We strive to educate our teachers on the diversity of the human experience, and to see this diversity as a strength, with potential to lead to growth and empowerment for all.

This program is for those who recognize the role of compassion (Ahimsa) within Yoga, those that enjoy respectful conversation and perspective taking, those that see the value in thoughtful inquiry, those that are curious, and those that possess a growth mindset.
Our curriculum is in-depth and varied, allowing some customization in your desired concentration area(s). We know not every topic is for everyone. Enrollees have 3 years to complete the program, which is a total of 20 weekends. Some topics may be only one day, but most modules are 2 days. There will also be the option to attend retreat(s) for hours as well. Our first retreat is in the works for 2024 and will likely be to Bali!
