Join us in celebrating 30 years of bird research, conservation, and community at the Point Lepreau Bird Observatory (PLBO)!Since 1995, PLBO has been monitoring seabird migration along the Bay of Fundy and connecting people with the wonder of bird migration. This milestone event will bring together past and present volunteers, partners, and friends to reflect on three decades of the observatory.
The evening will include:
- Light refreshments (snacks, sandwiches) and a celebratory cake
- A special presentation by PLBO founder Jim Wilson, sharing stories from the observatory’s early days and highlights from our ongoing seabird monitoring project
- The draw for our $30 for 30 Years giveaway where one lucky donor will win a custom PLBO crewneck sweatshirt!
Come celebrate the people and passion that have kept the observatory thriving for 30 years! Everyone is welcome, whether you’ve been part of PLBO for years or are just discovering it!
