LY DA BUDDAH der CEO des Drum & Bass in Deutschland feiert seine 30 Jahre Tour zusammen mit Euch im Bunker Rostock!
His business card could easily read as "German ambassador for basslines". He is the founder and president of Germanys most famous dnb event series: Drum And Bass Bundesliga (running since 2002). He has two monthly resident nights at the same club (Brain Klub) since 1996. Releases on labels like: Serial Killaz, Dope Ammo, Audio Addict, Kartoons, Ghettodub, Masterpeace, Original Key, 40Hz, Urban Wildlife, and more. Including combinations with artists like MC Spyda, MC Coppa, Zombie Cats, MC Fava, Dutta, The Ragga Twins, Jon Void, Magugu, Brian Brainstorm, Voicians,… Together with Dennis Gabbana he launched the street art and music label Monkeejuice, where he released eight LP´s since March 2020. Ly Da Buddah played worldwide on parties like: Radikal Styles (Colombia), U-Hall (USA), Sun and Bass (Italy), Fusion Festival (Ger), UAF (Aut), Irie (Thailand),… In 2023 he won the „Lifetime award“. Under his belt you can find more than 50 trophies from the DNB Awards Germany (Best event series / Best Live Act / Best Album / Best track / Best producer…). Beside all of this he was one of the first dubplate cutters, the founder and head of the biggest german language bass music and streetart print mag Headliner and had a record store for 10 years.
Ly Da Buddah shaped the german dnb scene for three decades with a large amount of energy, humour and enthusiasm. Now it is time to celebrate. Prost!
