In the 1960s, Joe and Jean Pritchard and their two children were subjected to a violent haunting that lasted years. The entity, nicknamed “Fred,” displayed distinctive poltergeist characteristics: temperature drops, foul smells, green foam appearing from taps, and violent physical assaults. The events here were so terrifying they inspired the horror film When the Lights Went Out.
What to Expect
This is an active investigation in a house known for intelligent and aggressive hauntings.
The Coal Hole: The alleged home of the Black Monk.
The Master Bedroom: Where the heaviest activity was historically recorded.
The Stairs: The site of the famous dragging incident.
What’s Included?
Work in small personal groups.
Take part in a number of activities such as, technical vigils etc.
You will have access to ghost hunting equipment needed to take part in activities. You are also welcome to bring your own equipment if you wish.
A friendly, experienced team on hand, to help and guide you throughout your night.
Refreshments are included in the ticket price and are available on the night during scheduled break times. To reduce costs and to help the environment, we ask that you please bring a reusable cup.
Event & Arrival details
On street parking is available at 30 East Drive, please park responsibility as it is a residential area. You are responsible for your car and belongings. Do You Believe Paranormal will not be held liable for any misuse of the local parking.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the event start time. Once the event has started, you will not be granted access.
Further details will be sent out to guests, 1 week before the scheduled event.
