30 Breathwork Transformation starting Monday November 17th through December 17th.
* Disregard the time as you will pick the date and time for your Breathwork Journeys (Tuesday/Thursday evenings 6:00-8:30pm)
We breathe over 20000 breaths per day. Take a moment to tune into your natural breathing pattern…
How much does it resemble optimal breathing that supports wellbeing:
- SLOW: a slow consistent rhythm around 5 to 6 breaths per minute with equal periods of inhalation and exhalation to bring balance to the body and mind
- DEEP (diaphragmatic breathing): reduces heart rate blood pressure and cortisol increases oxygen supply to your muscles and organs and along with movement is essential to moving lymphatic fluid to ensure optimal immune function and detoxification
- THROUGH THE NOSE: nasal breathing helps to filter the air and produces nitric oxide which improves oxygen circulation and absorption in the body
If your breathing is rapid shallow or through the mouth chances are you are also experiencing stress and anxiety a disregulated nervous system (fight or flight dominance) sleep deprivation overwhelm or burnout. The good news is breathing is the one autonomic process that we have conscious control over. I’d love the opportunity to help you take full advantage of this evolutionary mechanism developed to:
- help manage stress improve digestion and enhance sleep
- regulate the nervous system to promote relaxation and recovery
- directly influence brain activity related to perception cognition and emotions
- create an environment conducive to emotional processing to heal your past and be more present in the now
- build resilience to handle challenging or high pressure situations without losing focus
