This Halloween, we are looking for stories to make us shake, shiver and cry...with laughter!
Take an ostensibly spooky setting or character and make it funny. Some ideas:
- The vampire's landlord has a few words for his tenant. The place is not up to fire regulations!
- A Puritan ghost is enthralled when the owners of the house she haunts put on Love Island.
- Dracula is defeated when, in bat form, he is pounced upon by a bored and greedy tomcat.
- It turns out snakes can be charmed by all wind instruments, including the bagpipes.
(Bonus points if you can name the media where these come from)
Costumes and spooky dress are very welcome but not required.
This week's meeting will be held at Peace House on Paradise street.
