(Re)Approaching Lindy Hop Fundamentals and Dynamics of Connection

Prerequisite: At least one class of Lindy Foundations
It's easy to fall into the trap of learning move after move, but to really shine on the social dance floor, mastering the fundamentals are key. In this all levels workshop, we'll approach leading and following from the ground up, answering questions like "How is information transferred mechanically from partner to partner?", "What really is connection?", and "Is Lindy Hop 6-count dance, 8-count dance, or something else entirely?". Whether you're a seasoned dancer looking to think more deeply about your partnered dancing or a newcomer eager to learn without the need for predetermined moves, this workshop offers an opportunity for (re-)approaching the fundamentals and dynamics of Lindy Hop connection.
