Students will create a large 36” x 36” gallery-wrapped canvas floral painting. Learning to simplify general value shapes to specific details will help to create a believable illusion of light and space. Instructor Bonnie Dhein will demonstrate how to block in composition, mass in large areas, and mark key landmarks in your painting. Edges, values, and color relationships will be covered. Bring your favorite brushes and/or paints, but not required. Your painting will be ready to hang in your home when finished. Join us in creating a magical flower painting!
