Over two series of three classes each, we'll explore simple yet profound mental trainings, both in and out of meditation, on the qualities of an awakened heart. You'll learn how to integrate these powerful practices into your daily life to cultivate:
- Week 1 – Generosity: Open your heart and mind, finding joy in the practice of giving.
- Week 2 – Moral Discipline: Cultivate a sense of inner integrity, harmony and mental discipline.
- Week 3 – Patience: Learn to stay calm, accepting and centred in the face of life’s challenges.
- Week 4 – Effort: Find the sustained energy and inspiration to pursue our mental trainings through to completion.
- Week 5 – Concentration: Develop a strong, stable and clear mind through focused training in meditation.
- Week 6 – Wisdom: See the world and yourself with deeper clarity and understanding.

What to expect at a class:
Each class lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 min
- 10 min : Welcome & introduction
- 20 min : Introductory relaxation meditation
- 30 min : Main teaching & instruction
- 15 min : Deeper, guided meditation on the teaching topic
There is also an opportunity for Q&A with the Teacher after class

About the Teacher:

Gen Kelsang Rabka is an Australian Buddhist monk who was appointed as the Resident Teacher of KMC Singapore in mid-2020. He has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism with Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche and his senior disciples for over 15 years, and has taught in Asia, Australia and the UK.
The clarity and warmth in his teachings have helped many students experience the practical benefits of modern Kadampa Buddhism in their daily lives.
