I’m thrilled to announce this collaboration that will combine Craft Spirit Tasting and a magic show at a very cool venue - Hiatus Craft House in Camarillo!
After an inspiring conversation with the wonderful owners, Dawn & Dave Gross, we knew we had to create something special
A monthly "Craft Spirit Tasting & Magic Show"!
This is the first exclusive event kick off on March 29th!
This will be an intimate, ticketed event with only 20 seats available, and we anticipate a quick sellout—so grab your tickets ASAP!
Your ticket includes:
A 6-shot craft spirit variety tasting tray (all spirits are made in-house—trust me, they’re amazing!)
A 35-minute magic show featuring the same mind-blowing routines I perform at the world-famous Hollywood Magic Castle!
Event Schedule:
Doors open at 6:30 PM – Enjoy your craft spirit tasting while I mingle with close-up magic at your table.
7:00 PM – Take your seat as I perform my formal sleight-of-hand and mind-reading magic show from behind the bar.

Every dollar of profit supports the NewCo Foundation, which helps young entrepreneurs and individuals with special needs reach their full potential.

Hiatus Craft House was founded in 2022 as Banks and Baugher Craft Distillers. Dean Banks and Jeff Baugher made significant, lasting contributions to the start-up distillery before moving on to new adventures in 2024. Dawn and Dave Gross now own and operate the distillery and tasting room with an eye towards their philanthropic endeavors.
Born from a passion for making, a compulsion to create. Baking, cooking, canning, weaving, designing, fabricating, building, gardening, coding, optimizing, engineering, investing, giving, gaming, brailling, and now distilling. A culture of experimentation requires a tolerance for failure. Taking risks and making mistakes has been instrumental to the success of the founders.
After a string of successful startup companies and venture capital investments, Dawn and Dave shifted their focus to philanthropy. Their goal is to pay it forward by providing young entrepreneurs and those with special needs with positive, transformative experiences to help them achieve their potential. Through programming and giving, their non-profit, NewCo Foundation has provided millions of dollars for special needs populations and young entrepreneurs in Ventura County.
All profits from Hiatus Craft House are donated to NewCo Foundation. The journey is the reward. Thank you for letting us share our creations with you.
