★★ EVENT RULES ★★
As we channel the ancient spirit of Egyptian mythology, these rules are in place to guide you through the festival, ensuring fairness and harmony, much like the balance upheld by Ma'at, the goddess of truth and justice.
1. Respect and Integrity:
o All participants must demonstrate respect toward fellow competitors and event organizers, reflecting the harmony upheld in ancient Egypt.
o Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated and may result in immediate disqualification, just as the gods swiftly judged those who strayed from the path of righteousness.
2. Timeliness is Key:
o Participants must arrive on time for each event. Like Ra, the sun god, who never missed his journey across the sky, punctuality is crucial.
o Latecomers may not be allowed to participate in the event, as time waits for no one.
3. Equipment and Personal Belongings:
o For physical competitions, participants must bring their own necessary equipment (pens, calculators, etc.), just as ancient Egyptian explorers carried their tools on their quests.
o The festival authority is not responsible for any lost or stolen belongings, so safeguard your possessions as one would protect the treasures of the pharaohs.
4. Use of Technology:
o For segments involving digital tools (like coding competitions), participants are to use the provided equipment. No external devices or unauthorized software are permitted, ensuring a level playing field for all.
o Any attempt to cheat or use unauthorized software is considered a grave offense and will lead to immediate disqualification, akin to the curse that befell tomb robbers in ancient Egypt.
5. Submission of Work:
o For segments like poster design, t-shirt design, or sci-fi story writing, all work must be original, reflecting the creativity and ingenuity of the individual or team.
o Plagiarism or copying others’ work will result in disqualification, much like how Egyptian society revered originality and authenticity in their art and architecture.
6. Digital Competitions:
o Participants in E-Sports or digital competitions like FIFA must follow the specific rules provided for each segment. There will be no group divisions, as all participants will play on equal footing, akin to the universal judgment by Osiris in the afterlife.
o Every participant will receive a participation certificate as a symbol of their effort, much like the rewards bestowed upon those who honored the gods.
7. Health and Safety:
o The safety and well-being of participants is paramount. Follow all guidelines for health and safety as decreed by the event organizers.
o Any participant found violating these rules will be escorted out of the event, much like an intruder to a sacred temple.
8. Authority and Judgment:
o The decisions of judges, referees, and event coordinators are final, just as the ancient gods’ decisions were absolute in matters of fate.
o Any disputes or grievances must be respectfully raised with the event authorities in a manner reflecting honor and dignity.
9. Payment and Registration:
o All participants must follow the online and offline registration guidelines to secure their spot in the festival. Payment is required through Bkash, and confirmation must be received.
o No registration will be confirmed without payment, just as one could not enter the afterlife without passing through the gates.
10. Code of Conduct:
• Participants are expected to behave in a way that reflects the spirit of the festival, embracing both competition and camaraderie.
• Violations of the code of conduct will be met with strict action, as law and order were core principles of ancient Egyptian society.
