The Partnership for Community Progress is thrilled to invite you to participate in our 2nd Annual WHS Black Alumni Reunion KICKOFF event, taking place on Friday, October 10th at The Tyra Club. This year’s event promises to be bigger, better, and even more connected to our community roots.
The MISSION of The Partnership is to educate citizens about the contributions that African Americans have made in society and honor their achievements. We also aim to bring unity and awareness to the state of the minority community, inspire young-adult involvement, develop our youth, and promote black and brown commerce throughout Rhode Island.
OUR THEME FOR THIS YEAR IS: “BLACK ON THE BLOC!”
As a WHS Alumni/Woonsocket Resident or a valued entrepreneur that services Woonsocket residents, we would love to feature your business at this celebration. Whether you offer products, services, food, art, or something unique, this is a great opportunity to showcase what you do, connect with WHS alumni, and support a meaningful community gathering.
You will be allowed to speak about what you do and/or hand out business cards etc.
