second annual Vulture City Wild West days events! 2 days of Old West reenactments, gunfights, comedy skits and music. six different old west performer groups performing continuously from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. sit down at an authentic faro table and dealer and learn how to play the game that was popular in the old west! lots of vendors selling products and goods! we will have food vendors on site and our old west saloon will be open serving your favorite adult beverages. all this taking place in an authentic old west Ghost Town started in 1863 16 original buildings to tour and lots of History to learn. be sure to catch a live blacksmith demonstration throughout, we will have a kid zone area and animal pen for the little ones! on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. we will have an old west fashion show contest, categories will be for women best fancy dress and towns woman/saloon gal. men's category will be fancy dress / gambler and marshal/outlaw/drifter. everyone's invited to participate just must be in an old west attire clothing 1875 - 1885. first place receives a plaque and $25 gift card to Vulture City gift shop second place receives a plaque. registration table will be set up throughout the day to register, participants will come back out at 2:00 p.m. where winners will be announced. Park entry fees are adults $10 kids 7 to 12 $5 and under 7 free. all proceeds go to operating expenses and future restoration projects to help us keep the old west history alive!
