Mountain Crisis Services (MCS) is hosting it's second annual "Take Back the Night" event. This event will be held on October 2nd at Mountain Crisis Services business office. There will be a march that will start at 5pm at MCS business office. The event will begin at 5:30pm at MCS office. We will be having guest speakers Mariposa County District Attorney, Walter Wall among other Alliance for Community Transformations individuals. This event is an "Open House" and FREE to attend. If you plan on attending, bring a 6" fabric piece that is near and dear to your heart to the event. We are collaborating with Mariposa Peace Makers in creating a community quilt that will be displayed in our office. Pieces of fabric can include shirts, pants, pillow cases, blanket, etc. Something that is special or represents you and/or your survival story.
Make sure that after the event to stop by Pizza Factory for your favorite pie. They will be holding a fundraiser event from 4pm to 9pm the same night. If you can't make the event, make sure to get some pizza for your dinner.
