The Pumper Pull this year will have some exciting new additions added to it such as the Bucket Brigade competition where we'll be kicking it back to the years of old for Firefighters. Back in the day, members of communities and very early Firefighters would take a source of water, a line of people and buckets to transfer from the source to the location of the fire where they would extinguish it with teamwork.
This year we will also be adding in additional prizes for the following categories, for the Pumper Pull Teams:
- Best Dressed Team
- Most Comical Team
- Best Team Tent
We look forward to seeing you all on May 10, 2025. It's gonna be an 11AM start for the Pumper Pull, teams are required to show up at the latest by 10:30 to set up their tent area for their team to relax in while waiting to pull and afterwards. There will be two brackets for the Pumper Pull this year. Teams of 10 and teams of 5.
As per the Inaugural Competition, there is a 1st Place Trophy that will be with the winning team for a whole year till the next competition, the defenders are HEW Fitness this year. Any winner is given free entry to the next years competition to continue holding onto the trophy. The 'Sumner' Trophy will be awarded to the 1st place team of the 10 competitor division with 2 and 3rd place prizes also. The Teams of 5 will have 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes.
