During this event, we will honor the lives lost to maternal mortality through a moment of remembrance in a memorial release allowing you to say the name of your loved one and honor those who gave their lives in an attempt to bring life to the world.
For every mother that dies 100 other women experience a severe pregnancy complication. During this event, we'll honor your immense courage and sacrifice, and validate your birthing journey as survivors of maternal morbidity.
This event is not just a walk or a run; it is an opportunity to address the urgent issue of maternal health while also achieving your fitness goals. It will be a family-friendly outing with activities for the kids, a mother/baby resource fair with community vendors, giveaways, and more.
By taking part, you’ll become part of a movement dedicated to advocating for better healthcare services, policies, and support systems for pregnant women, with the goal of reversing the maternal mortality crisis in Delaware and throughout the United States.
Your participation or generous donation will help fund maternal care for uninsured and underinsured mothers who have difficulty accessing care, enabling them to receive essential maternal healthcare services.
Because EVERY mother deserves to survive to thrive.
