Show off your casting skills in Spinning, Casting or Fly categories. Each category will have a distance competition and an obstacle course.
Divisions by age: up to 10 years old; 11 to 15; 16 to 55; 55+
Prizes in each category.

*NEW – Custom Rod Building Class*
Sign up for this awesome opportunity to create your own custom fishing rod! World-Renowned rod building instructor Micheal W. Smith, owner of Smith Custom Rods will personally instruct you through the step-by-step process of building your own custom rod. You choose either spinning or casting rod. All materials are provided. The class will begin at 1PM Saturday November 9th and continue throughout the afternoon until your new fishing rod is assembled. The rods will have to spin and dry overnight. You can pick up your rod Sunday morning from 8AM-1230PM at the classroom, or you may pick it up by appointment at Smith Custom Rods in Fulton, Texas. Upon completion of the class the students will have an heirloom custom rod to take home and the skills to build rods on their own. A custom rod makes a great, personalized holiday gift! This class has limited spots – you must pre-register by calling (361) 727-9989. Class open until all spots are filled. Class including your new rod you will take with you is just $300!
