The Highlands Business Partnership, OPA - Offshore Powerboat Association, and Jersey Shore Boat Racing Present Roar on the River, May 17th & 18th.Saturday, May 17th, the festivities kick off in Veterans Park with JSBR racing, and Roar on the River Fest, where you will find food vendors, specialty vendors, and a wine and beer garden.
Sunday, May 18th, the OPA Race Series takes place, viewable from Highlands waterfront establishments, which will have race day specials and VIP Packages, where you can get an up-close view of this action-packed event.
Race fans can visit the “Pit” located at the Seastreak Overflow Lot, 348 Shore Drive (formerly Doris & Ed’s Restaurant), which will be open to the public, where Race Fans can get autographs and photos with the drivers and view the boats.
