The 2nd annual Recovery Olympics is an event being organized by a diverse group of individuals who are in recovery from substance use disorder, affected family and friends, or recovery allies. Our goal is to provide fun, healthy, sober community activities for all ages. We are busy planning the 2nd Annual Recovery Olympics, a community event that will be scheduled August 24, 2024 at Mill Park in Augusta, from 10am-4pm. The 1st Recovery Olympics was a day of fun, food, entertainment, and fellowship and, despite late planning and a hurricane, was a huge success! There were games, a DJ, live music, lots of food, and a dunk tank. We hope to go bigger this year, and have some organized sporting events, for those with a competitive spirit, as well as leisure activities. The event is for all ages and is family friendly.
