2nd Annual PillowTalk with Keosha

PillowTalk is an event that belongs to Katwalk with Keosha, hosted by Keosha “Carrot Top” Samuel. This is the second year of unifying our fashion community in Memphis and the surrounding areas. It’s a gathering geared towards initiating positive change and making everyone’s roles in our community transparent and relevant on our quest to strengthen our fashion scene. PillowTalk brings light to issues that are sensitive and assists with aiding models with their navigation. It’s a sensing session of relative issues within our community and we speak about our experiences and possible solutions to the problems that prevents success to the fashion industry here in Memphis. Collectively we all contribute to conversations that need to be had to enhance the respect of Memphis model culture and fashion community.

The event’s organizer, Keosha “Carrot Top” Samuel has an extensive background and a hefty list of accomplishments in her short pursuit of professional modeling. She has fearlessly and gracefully walked with confidence and poise. She has a signature walk that is captivating and luring, however, she can modify and adjust her walk to fit any runway style; or requirement. She has mastered all five major styles of runway catwalks. With almost no limitations, she conforms to any genre of modeling. She plans to be a model icon alongside Tyra Banks and Naomi Campbell. Her lifelong mission is to become a modeling pioneer. With hard work, dedication, discipline, and motivation; she will reach those goals. With each opportunity comes another stepping stone to achieve both her short and long term modeling goals. She continues to be relentless in her efforts to make history. PillowTalk will address how she’s done what she has done, and hopefully the tools she shares can be vital to the success of someone else.

Providing a luxury experience and an undeniable ambiance, the atmosphere is created for deep conversations. Being comfortable in pajamas takes the pressure off to be best dressed. This pajama themed event promotes the “come as you are” mentality. We just want to talk! We’re dimming the lights, playing our music low, and we’re going to get into the depths of who we are and our experiences that we want to make better for others. It’s the perfect time to reflect on what you’ve done, what you want to contribute, and who you want to be!

PillowTalk isn’t just a sensing session. It’s an informative event that gives helpful information to assist with excelling careers. Keosha is knowledgeable and has a reputable reputation providing materials to models and designers in some cases that aid in advancing them in their desired directions. There’s no such thing as knowing it all though! The more people that are in the room the more experiences we can all share!
