Join the 2nd Annual Pickleball for Peace tournament on Friday, October 25th, and Saturday, October 26th, to compete in a fun-filled event that benefits the Betty Griffin Center and survivors of domestic and sexual abuse in St. Johns County.Old Coast Pickleball will host the fundraising event. The competitions will take place on indoor courts located at 76 Dockside Drive, Unit 108, St Augustine, FL 32084.
Registration is $65 per player, and the event is open to all skill levels, ages 12 and up. Players will receive individual scores as they team up with rotating partners for multiple games. Sign up today at https://bit.ly/PickleballForPeace2024.
The competition schedule for the events is as follows:
Friday night, October 25th, Competitive Partner Play
The tournament starts at 5 p.m. Friday with exciting round-robin matches featuring set pairs competing for top honors! Friday night is all about competitive spirit, camaraderie, and a little friendly rivalry on the courts.
Saturday, October 26th, All levels
Get ready for a full day of action with rotating partners in a 10-person format. This event welcomes players of all skill levels and ages, whether you’re a seasoned player or just love the game.
Here’s the schedule:
8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.: Men 60+
10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Women 60+
12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.: Teens
2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.: Special Couples Event with the Sheriff
4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.: Women 20-60
6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.: Men 20-60
