Join us on Saturday, May 31st for the 2nd Annual Paws in Motion 5k – a fur-tastic event supporting our local furry friends. Last year, we raised an incredible $4,000 for a local animal shelter, and this year, we’re aiming even higher!
Whether you're a seasoned runner or just out for a stroll, your participation will make a pawsitive impact on the lives of furry friends in need. Enjoy a surprise raffle, delicious refreshments, and a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. Let’s come together, make a difference, and create even more tail-wagging moments for animals in our community!

Event Overview:
Paws in Motion 5K is a family & pet friendly event designed to raise awareness and funds for our local animal rescues. Participants of all ages and fitness levels are invited to join us for a fun-filled morning of running, walking, and celebrating our love for animals.

7:00 AM - Registration & Packet Pickup
8:00 AM - Special Announcements & Group Photo at Starting Line
8:30 AM - 5k Start Time
8:45 AM - Refreshments Open
9:30AM - Awards & Raffle (starts when the last participant crosses the finish line)
Location: Meet at Gretna Riverfront Amphitheatre, the levee at the corner of Huey P Long Ave & First Street
