Sunday, December 14th, Washington Lanes in Bay City is hosting our 2nd Annual Northern Michigan Majors Holiday Doubles Event.
The format is as follows:
Doubles teams will bowl 4 Team games of qualifying over 4 pair of lanes, skipping pairs after each game. Team games consisting of two individual games with the scores combined to create a team game. Example: bowler 1 shoots 220, bowler 2 shoots 180, the team game would be 400 as 220+180=400.
Then we will cut to the top 8 teams for Matchplay. Then we will bowl one game matches with the highest team score winning the match. Format for match play will be 1 vs 8 and 2 vs 7 exc. bracket style until we have a winner.
We have room for 30 teams, so please get your spot while you can. If you’d like to bowl, get ahold of myself, Logan, or Mark Faupel with the name of your partner.
We are expecting at least 15 teams to show up. But The more teams we have, the better the payout is. Mark your calendars folks. We hope to see you all on the 14th!
