2nd Annual Mayfly Film FestivalShowcasing stories of Sustainability, Stewardship, and the Environment

The Schoharie River Center presents the second annual Mayfly Film Festival, an inspiring & urgent program of diverse international short films focused on the environment and our relationship with it.
This year the program will premiere in Schenectady, downtown at Jay Square. It will be outdoors, so the films will screen once it is dark enough.
Before sunset, there will be activities, food by Kitchen Love, Drinks by Great Flats Brewing, and tabling by local environmental advocacy organizations, including the Schenectady Environmental Education Center, ECOS, and more.
Activities starting at 7 until films start:
-Model Dutch Barn, timber frame constructed by our students
-Recycling Regatta (build your own sail boats out of recycling materials and race them)
-Bicycle Maintenance by Electric City Bike Rescue
-Animal Track Identification by ECOS
This is event is free and open to all. Donations will be accepted to benefit the youth programming offered by the SRC in the city of Schenectady.
