Join us for the 2nd Annual Marcus Garvey Day Celebration!

Let's come together to honor the legacy of Marcus Garvey and celebrate his contributions. This in-person event promises a day filled with music, inspirational speakers, and cultural activities. Remember to bring your family and friends for a day of unity and empowerment.

Our guest speaker this year will be scholar-activist, Dynamic Speaker, and Organizational Consultant Professor James Small. He is CEO of Sanaa Lodge Enterprise, Ghana, Ltd.; CEO & President, African-American Management Company, Ghana, Ltd.; International Vice President, Organization of Afro-American Unity (O.A.A.U.); Int'l Vice President of World African Diaspora Union (WADU); Priest of Oya, Babalorisha, Ifa Tradition; former Imam (retired) of the Muslim Mosque Inc. founded by Malcolm X; and past President of the Eastern Region of the Association for the Study of Classical African Civilization (ASCAC).

A graduate of the City College of New York of the City University of New York, Prof. Small also taught for over fifteen years in the Department of Africana Studies of the City College of New York. He holds an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Divinity from Amen-Ra Theological Seminary, Los Angeles, CA.

Prof. Small is the Chief Historical Consultant of MGM+'s Godfather of Harlem TV movie series, starring Forest Whittaker. He's been featured in documentaries: HAPI; 1804; Hidden Colors; Out of Darkness; Heavy is the Crown; ABC Disney's production EPIX documentary series, Whatever Means Necessary; and Consultant & Narrator for Smithsonian Channel documentary, Cassius X: Becoming Ali.


Prof. James Small's Cultural Heritage African Tours, Inc. conducts educational & cultural pilgrimage/tours throughout Africa, Haiti and the United States.
