The countdown to the 2nd annual Cardboard Boat Races has begun!! When: 8/31/2024, 1 pm
Where: Sandy Beach, Lakes of the Four Seasons
Entry Fee: $50 per boat
100% proceeds will go to the Little League Challenger Division: little league’s adaptive baseball program for individuals with physical & intellectual challenges.
Materials allowed:
Corrugated cardboard, Duct tape, Packing tape, Hot glue, Rope or string, Paint, and Basic adhesives.
Boats must be propelled by human power: oars, paddles etc. (bring your own)
All participants must wear life jackets
With enough participation we will have 3 races this year in the following divisions:
Greenhorn (ages 12 & under) up to 6 crew members per boat
Sea dog (ages 12 & up) up to 4 crew members per boat
Wave whisperers (combo of ages) up to 4 crew members per boat
