Format:
4 Surfers
35 minute heats
3 WAVES PER SURFER
No tag required, next surfer can position themselves where they like on the beach/rocks
When a competing surfer is satisfied with counting a ride they raise both arms then the next surfer can go.
If the last surfer makes it to dry land they get a bonus 3 points.
There are no penalties if a surfer chooses to still be in the water as the heat finishes.
There will be priority. As a surfer enters the line up they will be awarded priority based on how many surfers are in the designated priority zone. For example if there are two surfers in the zone the new surfer will gain 3rd priority.
Priority will only be used when riding a wave however excessive blocking will result in loss of priority.
Each team has “Double Whammy Surfer'' (DWS) who must raise both hands within 10-15 seconds after the wave to be rewarded double points.
