Last year Ari and I decided to host a Christmas Eve dance party for all the wayward souls with no other plans. We expected a cozy little dance and were kind of amazed to have about 60 people attend! So this year, we decided to do it again!OmCulture will still be decorated for the holiday following Lilli Ann Carey's 'Dancing in a Winter Wonderland' event on December 14: https://www.facebook.com/events/536108419355722
As with most of our variety dances, the focus will be on very danceable tunes, covering many dance genres, including fusion for those who don't have a lot of social dance experience. Ari will also pull out his favorite holiday themed songs as well.
Dress festively and prepare for an evening to remember! We'll have a nice assortment of snacks and an open wine bar for you to enjoy as well.
Cost: $20 cash or venmo (we often do self service at the door, so get comfortable with being trusted implicitly!) Also, you can pay less if you are on a tight budget.
Flow of the evening:
7:15 Doors open
7:30 Lesson begins (please do your best to be on time for this)
8:00 Dance begins
11:00 Music ends
Dances moving forward (usually 1st and 3rd Sundays except December)
