Nothing says love like a bowl full of chili!!!Come join us for our second annual chili cook off! The door fee for taste testers/voters will be only $3! This will go towards prizes for the contestants and set up costs. For this small fee you will also receive utensils, napkins, water, pallet cleansers, and access to an UNLIMITED tasting buffet of 10 different types of homemade chili along with one ballot for each of the THREE categories!
Voters are responsible for their own ballots! They will NOT be replaced if they are lost or stolen.
This cook off will be self-serve. The cooks will remain anonymous until voting is complete!
(This should go without saying… BUT No, there is no take out….You can not take it to go and taste at home. Voters MUST be present to participate)
Should there be any remaining chili in the vessels, it is the discretion of the cook as to if you can have any left overs to take home AFTER the competition is complete)

Winners will be chosen by popular vote.
Each approved voter/taster will receive only ONE voter card per category which they will use to cast their vote when it is time. We feel this will make it the fairest.

Each Applicant must fill out the entry form on Google Docs and answer every question - WE WILL ANNOUNCE WHEN THE LINK IS LIVE. ABSOLUTELY NO EARLY APPLICATONS. EVERYONE GAINS ACCESS AT THE SAME TIME.
Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
Entry fee is $30.00 IN WHICH ALL Participants must pay upon filing out their google form. If your entry fee is not received your application will not be valid and your spot CANNOT be held.
The chili recipe must be the original recipe of the applicant.
Applicants must supply their own stoves, hot plate, cooking pots, and all ingredients and utensils needed to prepare chili. It shall be prepared prior to the event and transported by the applicant.
All applicants are required to make one full pot (at least 4 quarts) of chili.
The venue will provide all bowls, napkins, utensils, serving spoons, condiments and voter cards.
All applicants are required to provide the venue with their entry chili NO later than 1PM the day of the contest.
Each applicant will be assigned a number to their vessel upon arrival. And chef names will not be revealed until AFTER voting 🗳️
ALL applicants must agree in the Google Doc form that they will not entice, sway, encourage, or "bait" any judges/tasters to vote for their vessel. This is a CLEAN fun contest. Any applicants caught bribing for votes will IMMEDIATLEY be eliminated from the competition. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Tasting will begin PROMPTLY at 3pm and all applicants will be judged at 5:00 pm. Awards will be presented on or around 6:00 pm.
Each applicant MUST be present for the event to enter and accept awards.
There will be one winner in each of the following categories:
Best overall
Best Non-Traditional (venison, turkey, vegan, wild game etc.)
Spiciest
AWARDS are listed below:
Best Over-All: $100 cash, an official bragging certificate, plus prizes
Best Non-Traditional: $50 cash, an official bragging certificate, plus prizes
Spiciest: $25 cash, an official bragging certificate, plus prizes
