Name: 2nd Annual Battle of the Badges Charity Hockey Game

On October 11th, 2025, IAFF Local 5423 and Manheim Township Police will be hosting the 2nd Annual Battle of the Badges charity hockey game at The Lancaster Ice Rink. The defending champions, Lancaster County Fire, will take on Lancaster County Police in a battle for this year's cup.
This year's charity is The Yard Foundation. The Yard Foundation, started in 2015, is a first responder charity that assists first responders and their families in times of crisis, illness, and line of duty deaths. Each year, The Yard Foundation has provided first responders and their families thousands of dollars to dampen the financial burden in times of crisis.
This year, nine of Manheim Township's very own will be playing in the game.

The event will include an opening ceremony, raffles, concessions, and merchandise. Police and Fire vehicles will also be on site for you and your children to tour. Tickets are $10 at the door.
