We’re lighting up the night AGAIN! The Atlanta Lantern Boat Festival is BACK for Year 2 and the Laotian American Society is excited to see you all there. LAS is hosting its second annual festival on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Lake Lanier Olympic Park.
Festival Mission
The festival enriches the multicultural fabric of Georgia by introducing a unique and vibrant cultural celebration and presence of Laotian Americans to a broader audience bringing together the community under a magical evening of entertainment, night market, lanterns, cultural showcases, dragon boats, and so much more.
Its themes of light and water symbolize renewal, hope, and the cleansing of negativity, offering participants a sense of optimism and community while fostering greater understanding and respect. The festival supports LAS operations and programs in education, youth development, cultural preservation, and policy advocacy.
