This is a NON-SANCTIONED TOURNAMENT
1. All USBC Rules will apply.
2. Entry Fee: $50 per team $20 Lineage $27 for Smart Scholarship and $3 for awards
3. Entry Policy: Please Email all entries to [email protected] or drop them off at Bar-don Lanes. Preregistration is preferred, so averages can be verified.
Entries will be limited to 96 bowlers, 48 teams per Squad.
4. Walk-Ins: Walk in entries will be allowed, based on availability, all walk in entries will close 30 minutes prior to the event starting.
5. Re-Entries: Re-Entries will be allowed, but with a different partner. Can only place once.
6. Payment: Paypal (Friends and Family – No Fee’s): [email protected] or cash the day of the event.
7. Averages:
A- Current highest USBC average in any sanctioned or non-sanctioned winter or summer league (Past two seasons) that can be verified with 21 games or more.
B- If no A, an entrant will bowl scratch. 220 will be used as scratch average.
C- USBC rule 319a 2 – 10 pin rule will not apply
8. Tournament Format: - All bowlers will bowl 3 games. Highest total with handicap will be declared the winner.
9. Divisions: Tournament will be split into 3 divisions based on combined Adult/Youth Averages.
Divisions A B C
Average: 321 & above 261-320 260 & below
10. Handicap: Handicap will be 80% of 440
11. Prizes: 100% of the prize fund will be returned. SMART scholarship will be awarded. Scholarships will be held and administered by the SMART program through the USBC.
12. General Rules:
A: Bowlers can start checking in 1 hour prior to the event starting.
B: Practice will be 10 minutes.
13. Publicity- Participation in this event may include photos or videography of the registered competitors and spectators. Submission of entry allows EABA staff to take, use and record video of registered competitors and or spectators during the event.
14. Scoring- Automatic scoring will be used. Tournament Management has the discretionary authority to determine if an irretrievable game and/or frame(s) should be re-bowled. All changes to lane scoring must be made by EABA authorized personnel.
15. Entrant’s Responsibility- It is the entrant’s responsibility to verify their average for the tournament in accordance with USBC rule 319a 3. Failure to use proper average or make the correction before the end of the first game, will disqualify the entry if the submitted average is lower than the correct average. If the submitted average is higher, that will be the average used. Average will be used as of 1/5/2025.
16. Conduct and Dress Code
A: Improper Conduct will result in disqualification from the event
B: DRESS CODE: All clothing must have no holes or tears. All clothing shall cover all undergarments appropriately, no midriffs, low cut or revealing clothing is not allowed. All T-shirts and collared shirts must have sleeves. Full-length pants, capris, skirts, skorts and shorts are permitted. All skirts, skorts or shorts must be no shorter than 3 inches above the knee. No Hats of any kind. Tournament Director will have final say.
C: NO electronic devices may be worn during competition. (ex: Headphones or Earbuds)
