2nd Annual 9/11 LeRoy Homer 5K - WE RUN SO THEY CAN FLY!We are back! Join us for a 5K or 1 mile walk. Flat and fast 5K starting in Memorial Sports Complex in Evesham, NJ. Chip timing, HD finish line video, text messaging and instant results on RunSignUp. Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in each age group. Race day packets will be distributed on race day beginning at 7:30 AM. Race will begin at 9:11 AM in honor of 9/11/01.

Virtual Runners: You can run anytime from now till Sept 14, 11:59PM. To submit your time, click on "Results" in the menu, look up your name and enter your time. Our goal is to send your t-shirt as soon as possible but you do not have to wait for your race day packet to arrive, in order to run. We would love to see photos of you on your race day! LeRoy Homer, resident of Marlton, was the First Officer on United Flight 93 which tragically crashed in Shanksville, PA on Sept 11, 2001. The crew and passengers fought off terrorists and thwarted an attack against the US Capitol. The LeRoy Homer Foundation awards flight scholarships to young adults who wish to pursue careers in aviation. The proceeds from this 5K will benefit our aviation scholarship program to help create the next generation of pilots. Come out for a great run or walk while supporting a wonderful cause.
