2hr Sewing Machine Basics # 2 (Hats & Hand Sewing)
Come join us for a fun and informative sewing workshop at the Dayton Metro Library - Main! In this session, we will focus on making hats and learning hand sewing techniques. Whether you're a beginner or have some sewing experience, this class is perfect for anyone looking to expand their skills. Building on the skills from Sewing Machine Basics 1, this class will focus on more advanced techniques and projects. Participants will practice and refine their machine sewing skills by making hats or hair accessories. Learn to create perfect zigzag stitches and explore more on understanding fabric. Explore decorative hand sewing stitches to make your hat or hair accessories stand out. We’ll also introduce basic hand stitching methods and cover the beginning stages of how to read a sewing pattern. This comprehensive approach ensures participants gain a well-rounded understanding of both machine and hand sewing.NOTE: A SEWING MACHINE IS NEEDED FOR THIS CLASS!!! INFORM US IF YOU NEED TO USE ONE OF OUR MACHINES AT LEAST 48HR BEFORE CLASS!!!!
