Learn to paddleboard at a gentler pace in this 2hr Intro to SUP that allows for a more in-depth introduction to paddleboarding, covering all of the safety aspects and skills in the SUP Taster session but with more time to practice and hone your skills.Go from prone paddling, to kneeling to standing to paddling and controlling your SUP using various techniques as well as learning how to self rescue.
This unique session is held on the Upper Women's Way Pond (it's a lake really!) at the stunning Grade 1 listed Sheffield Park & Garden, National Trust, near Uckfield. This sheltered lake allows for a calmer learning environment without the challenge of tides and current and the natural beauty of the lake makes for the perfect backdrop!
Entry to Sheffield Park & Garden is included in your SUP ticket price.
Sessions are 120mins. Please arrive at Visitor Entrance 30mins in advance (& water ready if possible) to allow time to reach our launch point and ensure a prompt start.
Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
