LITTLUNIVERSE focuses on providing after school, weekend and school break STEM options to kids (primarily ages 6-14) across Vancouver Island. From Dec 2020 to August 2021 we were partnered with Quadratic Sound in Downtown Victoria and had a very successful start there with families.
This Winter we are offering a Game Design Camp at Vic West!
Date/Time: Dec 28 -31 9am - 3pm
Cost: $280 per participant
Ages: 7-10

Location: Garden Room at Vic West Rec Center. Please note that we are only renting the room from them, therefore any questions regarding the camp should be directed at [email protected].
Camp Info: GAME OVER! In this program participants will get the opportunity to design their very own 2D video game! Turn your imagination into reality! Participants will get to do everything from programming their character to walk, shoot, climb ladders, open locked doors and chests, interact with NPCs, set off detonators and more! There games will include a main and pause menu as well as all types of sounds and music. And so much more! Each participant will get to take home their game with them at the end of the program. No prior coding/programming experience is necessary. Participants will have a lunch and a snack break. There will be also other fun activities spread throughout the day including unique engineering challenges! SONIC the Hedgehog will also return again on the last day for some fun!
