2D and 3D Design Basics Using Blender
About this Event

Blender is a free and open source 3D creation suite. It supports the entirety of the 3D pipeline; modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing and motion tracking, even video editing and game creation.

Get an introduction to this amazingly powerful piece of free design software and open up a new world of creative possibility for yourself. In this class you will get acclimated to the Blender design environment, learn the basic functions and hot-keys that will allow you to complete a simple 2D design that can be cut on our CNC router or laser engraver, and complete a basic 3D design that can be printed on one of our 3D printers.

Participants must be 14 years of age or older. Laptops will be provided but feel free to bring your own, you can download and install blender from blender.org

Have something on your mind you'd like to design? Come with suggestions and let's make it a reality!
