The Center for the Arts is pleased to present the 29th Annual Open Studios free art tour, featuring the incredibly diverse community of artists in Nevada County’s western region. Each October local artists, galleries, collectives, and art facilities open up their spaces during the second and third weekends of October so that you can see where art is made, displayed, and appreciated. The tour features a multitude of classic and contemporary art for every taste and hosts sculptors, printmakers, photographers, painters, illustrators, woodworkers, designers and much more. Open Studios is a wonderful opportunity to meet the artists; view new and in progress artworks; watch live demonstrations; learn about processes and techniques; and acquire original art in a wide range of mediums and forms.

The Preview Exhibition will feature one piece of artwork from each artist, gallery, collective, or art facility on the 29th Annual Open Studios tour!
Open Studios Preview Exhibition allows you to come and view the vast array of work, choose your favorites, and map them out accordingly so that you have a plan for driving around Nevada County during the tour.
Additionally, please mark your calendar for our Tour Kick-Off Party in The Granucci Gallery on Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 5 - 7 pm and RSVP through our website.
The Tour Kick- Off Party is a great opportunity to meet the artists, view their work, and show support for this amazing program.
You can stop by The Granucci Gallery anytime during our hours to view the Preview Exhibition. Our hours are: Tuesday – Friday, 12 – 5pm.
The Granucci Gallery is located at The Center for the Arts at 314 W. Main Street in downtown Grass Valley, CA.
